A.I. in our Lives: An Overview of Artificial Intelligence and How it's Being Used Today

Wednesday, April 26, 2023

From art, music, and writing, Artificial Intelligence or A.I. is going to completely change the way we interact with the world. While companies are in a digital arms race to be the first to bring this technology into our everyday lives, it leaves many of us questioning. How can a computer create art and what does that mean for their human creators? When A.I. like ChatGPT and Bard search the internet for you, where are they going to get those answers? Will they always be right?

Listen to technology librarian Robby St. John as she explains the basics of how A.I. technology is being used today, what are the pros and cons of such technology, and where it might be heading in this simplified overview.
