In this DIY activity, children of all ages can use their natural creativity to invent a story or express themselves by telling a story about their own experiences.   10. Rhode Island Computer Museum Workshop: Make Your Own Video Game, ages 9 to 11, registration

    MAKE YOUR OWN VIDEO GAME The Rhode Island Computer Museum will present a workshop called “Make Your Own Video Game”. This is a great chance to put down your controllers and take time to learn interactive software titled “Scratch” and create your own “video game” sample. The program will also include an exhibit on “Historic Video Games”. The exhibit aims to explain the impact of Early Video Games and then teach the MIT developed youth program “Scratch”. Scratch is a computer program developed to teach software coding and allows you can create your own “video game” sample. The workshop aims to explain how early video games were made and give students new skills to develop their own games. For ages 9 to 11.

    This one hour lye free soap making workshop is designed for children ages 7 and up. Registration begins on Jul. 23. Each participant will make their own soapy creation using glycerin based soap and adding colors, glitter and scents. Once the concoction has cooled slightly, participants will add glitter, colors, essential oil (optional), embed the rocker, big hair and rocker rubber duckies and decorate the tops with white soap curls. At the end of the workshop each participant will take their handmade creation home, it can be unmolded the following day and used right away. Soap is approximately 4 oz. with a 2” rubber duckie and overall measurements of 2.75” x 2.75”.

Summary: Odessa is a master necromancer in the kingdom of Karthia, tasked with raising the nobles after they have died and catering to their needs - but never allowing them to become Shades, zombie-like monsters of the dead. However, someone is deliberately creating Shades and training them to attack, and Odessa's necromancer magic may just be the thing to bring Karthia to its knees...
