Join author and historian Eamon McCarthy Earls as he tells the story of four of the worst hurricanes to ever hit Massachusetts. In 1955, the Mass coastline was hammered by Hurricane Connie and Hurricane Diane - two storms whose impact was made worse by the short time frame in which they struck. The back to back impact of the sister storms recalled a similar situation only 12 months earlier when Hurricanes Carol and Edna brought similar destruction to Massachusetts in 1954. Come hear Eamon Earls tell the story of these four incredible and devastating storms. A project that started through family memories is now a warning of future destruction.
