Drop in anytime between 1:00 and 4:45 to learn and play some new and modern board games! Everyone is welcome at this fun afternoon hosted by Matt Donle of Wicked Fun Games. Most games will be for ages 8+. We'll have many games available to choose from including: - Castle Panic - a game where you work cooperatively to prevent a castle from being overrun by monsters! - Hey That's My Fish! - a game where you try to get as many fish as you can before the board floats away! - Sushi Go - collect sets of differently flavored sushi in a 3 course meal! - Forbidden Desert - a game about trying to survive in a shifting desert while uncovering parts of an ancient flying ship! - Carcassonne - lay tiles down to construct a medieval cityscape! - Labyrinth - play as wizards collecting ingredients for a spell in a constantly shifting maze! - Tokaido - a game about traveling on a journey, seeing the sights and eating food

Our Read to a Dog program provides a supportive environment to practice reading! Reading to trained therapy dogs helps develop literacy skills and builds confidence and self-esteem. Our canine friends are all wonderful, patient listeners who are looking forward to reading with you! The program takes place each Saturday morning from 10:30-11:30. Reading sessions last 15 minutes and are for children ages 5 and up. Please reserve a spot by calling the Children's Department at 781-741-1405 ext. 1403. We hope you can join us!
