Health care advocate and attorney, Patricia Stewart, will offer a workshop on the recent Massachusetts health-care law (MOLST) which mandates that terminally ill patients receive information and counseling on palliative care and end-of-life options. The purpose of the presentation is to empower medical decision makers to make informed choices for health care and avoid traps and unintended outcomes in the process.

Books, Bounces, and rhythmic activity ensure that this engaging Storytime for babies (0 to 14 months) and their caregivers is the perfect environment for building your baby’s foundation for lifelong reading. Babies will be introduced to familiar rhymes and songs as well as the opportunity to mingle with other babies and their caregivers. Following the program, families are invited to socialize and play with library’s collection of toys.

Our Read to a Dog program provides a supportive environment to practice reading! Reading to trained therapy dogs helps develop literacy skills and builds confidence and self-esteem. Our canine friends are all wonderful, patient listeners who are looking forward to reading with you!
The program takes place each Saturday morning from 10:30-11:30. Reading sessions last 15 minutes and are for children ages 5 and up. Please reserve a spot by calling the Children's Department at 781-741-1405 ext. 1403.We hope you can join us! Our furry friends are looking forward to reading with you! We will transform, reinvent and repurpose! | February: It is NOT hocus pocus...it is detective work! Forensic scientists gather facts from the crime to solve the crime...learn some of their techniques.

All teens are welcome to join our new Anime & Manga Club! Each meeting, members will get to talk about anime and manga with fellow enthusiasts. Each time, there will be a small craft and snack and we will watch one episode of an anime show - decided by group vote - via Crunchyroll. Registration not required.
