    Author Wayne G. Miller's presentation encompasses a century of shipbuilding at the Fore River Shipyard in East Braintree and Quincy. Special emphasis will be on some of the famous ships that helped win two world wars, as well as some surprising ships that you never knew were built at the yard. Miller is the author of The Fore River Shipyard, A Postcard History.

    Our March Chess sessions are for students who are familiar with chess basics and are interested in instructional play. Participants will learn by solving chess puzzles or playing as a team against the instructor. The March series is instructive and informative. We hope you can join us!
