Jill Sullivan, Social Worker for the Town of Hingham, offers free drop-in office hours on Tuesdays from 10:00 - 11:00 and 5:00 - 7:00 in the Library's Fearing Room. Over the past 80 years, countless movies have documented and, in some cases, fictionalized the stories of a world embroiled in the same lifetime-defining experience of World War II. To honor those who served, as well as their loved ones, we will take a behind-the-scenes look at some of the most impactful films about the war years that are from the war years. Storytelling may not always perfectly capture reality, but it is an effective way to keep it in the public consciousness for future generations.This event will be held in person at the Library. Read, rhyme, and sing in this active Storytime! Simple stories and familiar rhymes introduce the sounds of language to your little learner. This program is perfect for children 3 years and younger with their caregivers.
