    Move & Groove Storytime is a program for children of various ages (4 and under) and their caregivers. Listen to fun stories, sing, and move around in this fast-paced Storytime perfect for young children who learn best when their brains and their bodies are active.

    This storytime session begins Wednesday, January 11 and runs through Wednesday, February 15.

    Space in this event is limited, and registration is full.

  2. Beginner Chess: Virtual Program with Nolan DeMott, ages 7+

    This class is for students new to chess. Participants will learn the basics of play during this eight-week series (January 4 - February 22) including how to set up the board, the rules of the game, understanding basic rule nuances, and the difference between checkmate and stalemate. Each week of the series builds on the skills learned during the previous weeks' lessons.

    This event will be held on Zoom. Registration for this event has filled.

  3. Intermediate Chess: Virtual Program with Nolan DeMott, ages 7+

    This class is for students who are familiar with chess basics and are interested in instructional play. In this eight-week series (January 4 - February 22) slightly more advanced Chess principles and strategies will be introduced. Participants will learn by solving chess puzzles or playing as a team against the instructor. Each week of the series builds on the skills learned during the previous weeks' lessons.
