South Shore Community Action Council
SSCAC runs many programs in the areas of Youth and Family Development, Income Maintenance, Nutrition, Emergency Assistance, Self-Sufficiency, Energy Assistance, Employment, and Transportation Assistance.


Group Tours

School groups, daycares, scout troops, teachers, and community groups are invited to visit the library. Tours, orientations, and special story times are available by prior arrangement. In order for the experience to be a positive one for all, we ask that there be one adult present for every 10 children for the duration of the visit.
