Through a generous grant made by an anonymous donor through the Rhode Island Foundation and supplemented by Town of Hingham funds the Library will resume Sunday hours from 1-5 pm on February 12th. Sundays will continue through May 20th. Closed Easter, April 8th and Mother's Day, May 13th.

The OLLI program at UMass-Boston is offering life-long learning opportunities through video conferencing with the Hingham Public Library. See, hear and participate in the class being offered from UMass-Boston. Takes place in the Whiton Room. A number of lectures and classes have an instructor on-site at HPL.

Kerman, born in Denmark, was raised in the Boston area and New Mexico, lived in Paris, Mexico City, Seattle, and San Francisco. A new resident of Hingham, Massachusetts, Kerman has been an Emergency Physician at Mount Auburn, Boston City, and Carney Hospitals. He is currently a Hospitalist with South Shore Hospital.
