Introduction to Personal Storytelling with Terry Wolfisch Cole

Tuesday, July 6, 2021

Ira Glass of This American Life says, “Great stories happen to people who know how to tell them.” Do you want to get better at captivating listeners? Whether you want to tell your story on stage, in a business meeting or college interview, or at the family table, professional storyteller Terry Wolfisch Cole of Tell Me Another will teach you everything you need to know to engage any audience. The session will include an opportunity to hear Terry tell a story as well as tips and tricks for effective storytelling.

This program will be held via Zoom. Registration will open on June 1.

William Shakespeare never met Terry Wolfisch Cole, but he must have known she was coming when he wrote the words, “Though she be but little, she is fierce.” Terry is the founder and host of Tell Me Another. She is a Moth GrandSLAM champion whose story of running away from home was featured on the Moth Radio Hour and in Readers Digest. She has told stories onstage at the Moth in New York, Boston, Miami, and Burlington, at Risk! in Washington DC, and at numerous local shows throughout New England. An expatriate New Yorker, Terry has years of experience working with adults, teens, and children in a variety of settings.  She is also a writer, yoga teacher, cookie baker, mah jongg expert, and passionate Bruce Springsteen fan.
