Read to a Dog!

Boo

Our Read-to-a-Dog program provides a supportive environment to practice reading! Reading to trained therapy dogs helps develop literacy skills and builds confidence and self-esteem. Our canine friends are all wonderful, patient listeners who are looking forward to reading with you!

The program takes place each Saturday morning from 10:30-11:30 as well as Wednesday early release days at 1:00. Reading sessions last 15 minutes and are for children ages 5 and up. Please reserve a spot by calling the Children's Department at 781-741-1405 ext. 1403.

We hope you can join us, our reading dog team includes six friendly dogs, who are all looking forward to reading with you!

Our dogs are: Golden Retriever DUNCAN, Cocker Spaniel HOPE, Chocolate Lab TACO, Lab/Springer Spaniel Mix BELLA, Chihuahua SALTY, and Shih Tzu BOO.

Check the calendar to see who's here this week!
