Adult & Meetings

  1. Search Engine Basics - Computer Literacy Series

    February 9, 2023, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM

    Online via Zoom

Most of us have used a search engine such as Google, Bing, or DuckDuckGo, but how much do you know about how they work? And how do you decide which one to use? We’ll go over what a search engine even is (hint: it might not be what you think!), explain how search engines find answers to your questions, talk about internet privacy, and compare the top four search engines in the US.

This class will be held on Zoom. Space in this class was limited and registration has filled.
