Learn-to-Play Chess Club | Ages 6-102025-10-18T15:00:00Local high school students are offering a beginner’s learn-to-play chess club at the Hingham Library! The chess club will meet one Saturday per month and will teach the basics of chess. Players will learn the names of pieces and how they move, the rules of the game, and what they need to do to win. They will have an opportunity to play against the club leader(s) and other club members. This is a fun, interactive way to learn the basics of chess. Players do not need to bring any equipment.
