    The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UMass Boston presents a talk on the Wheel of Health approach to health and wellness. This presentation is free and open to the public.

    This 90-minute presentation will introduce participants to a holistic approach towards health and wellness using an assessment tool known as the Wheel of Health. You'll identify challenges/successes in nine areas: movement, nutrition, environment, relationships, personal development, spirituality, sleep & rest, work life balance, and mind & body. The outcome is to encourage participants to develop a personalized plan with goals and strategies for healthy living, stress management, and/or personal growth.

    This is a beginner to advanced beginner hatha yoga class which focuses on the larger muscle groups with slower, thoughtful and accessible movements, mostly on the ground, combined with gentle stretching.
